Location: Minnetonka, MN
Start Date: ASAP
Commitment: 1-year preferred, with potential for permanent hire by the center
Schedule: Must be available for an 8-hour shift, 3–5 weekdays between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Pay: $18.25–$22.30 per hour, DOE
Overview
Join a partner daycare and preschool as a Daycare Sub, supporting classrooms ranging from preschool to school-age. This position is a strong fit for individuals who enjoy engaging with young children and supporting their learning through play, hands-on activities, and curiosity-driven experiences.
Lead Teacher opportunities are also available for candidates with experience working with toddlers or preschoolers.

Responsibilities
- Create and implement hands-on, age-appropriate activities based on children’s interests
- Document and communicate important milestones and daily highlights
- Ensure the safety, engagement, and development of children
- Maintain high-quality care in clean, well-equipped classrooms
- Participate in active play, both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting)
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass state and company background checks
- Willingness to obtain CPR certification, MMR vaccination, TB test, and COVID-19 vaccination
- Completion of online training modules
- Experience working with children or strong customer service background
- Ability to work in an active, child-centered environment
Physical Requirements
- Regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to move to and from the floor throughout the day
- Ability to respond quickly and calmly to situations involving children
