What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afterschool Assistant/ Driver position at Kickin 2 Fitness?
General Function: Help with the Transportation of Afterschool Students with Under the direction of the Martial Arts After-school Site Director. Counselor is responsible for leading his/her assigned group in various planned activities to support the overall goals of the program. Plan and implement activities for elementary age children on a daily basis. Supervise recreational activities and other program related functions.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Be authorized to work in the United States. Must have reliable transportation. Must have a valid driver's license. Background check required. Candidate can be just a driver or a combination of both positions( Afterschool Assistant)
Essential Functions:
- Create an environment that provides various activities and instruction.
- Give homework help/supervise students that needs help.
- Transport Children from school to program. Must have a clean valid Driving record.
- Establish open lines of communication with school system, parents & staff.
- Consult with the Director(s) on concerns related to student(s) development or behavior before speaking with the parent.
- Perform other duties as related to the delivery of a quality after-school.
- Must enjoy working with children. Monday - Friday Following the Dekalb County School Year Calendar 2:00-7:00. And possible overtime hours if available.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
