We are hiring motivated and passionate Line Cooks at The Cape Club, Kiawah Island Club's newest amenity.
Located on the Island's west end, just a short drive from the main gate, sits the highly anticipated Cape Club featuring an oceanfront infinity pool with chaise lounges and cabanas, an expansive sundeck overlooking the Atlantic, beach service, and a Latin-inspired restaurant led by Kiawah Island Club Chef Drew Souvanna and James Beard Award-winning Club Culinary Advisor Chef Mike Lata. The restaurant also offers food and beverage service poolside and on the beach, providing Members with the opportunity for al fresco daytime dining throughout the year. The menu reflects an elevated take on traditional Central and South American flavors and preparations with an emphasis on fresh, local seafood.
This is a daytime position with hours typically between 10am-8pm.

The perfect candidates will be responsible for the following, among other duties:
- Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, specifications, and quality standards
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail during all phases of production and service
- Assist with daily food preparation, station setup, service execution, and breakdown procedures
- Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and rotation of all food products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with Club and health department standards
- Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, and stewards to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with culinary leadership and team members to support smooth service execution
- Assist with inventory organization, product receiving, and kitchen maintenance as needed
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Support the culinary team by working any station necessary to ensure an exceptional experience for our Members and guests
This position offers a highly competitive starting rate for lightly experienced candidates and an even higher rate for seasoned culinary professionals, especially those with experience in fine dining restaurants, luxury hospitality, or private clubs.

Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
