The Golf Services Towel Attendant at Cassique plays a key role in creating a memorable, hospitality-driven experience for members and guests. While the primary responsibility is delivering refreshing cold or warm towels after each round, this role also supports a variety of essential golf operations tasks. Exceptional service, attention to detail, and a welcoming demeanor are crucial for success. This is a FULL TIME position.
Key Responsibilities
Member & Guest Service
- Provide cold or warm towels to players upon completion of their round depending on the time of year, presenting them in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.
- Offer assistance and anticipate needs to provide a high-end Club experience.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Cassique’s facilities, services, and daily operations to answer member and guest questions.
Golf Operations Support
- Assist with staging, cleaning, and organizing golf carts.
- Load and unload golf bags, ensuring proper handling and accurate placement.
- Clean and restock on-course comfort stations and practice areas as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bag drop, cart staging area, and surrounding facilities.
- Clean clubs for players before and after their rounds.
- Support range operations, including setting up, maintaining, and breaking down range stations.
- Communicate with the golf shop and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
General Responsibilities
- Uphold Kiawah Island Club hospitality standards and promote a positive, team-focused atmosphere.
- Monitor supplies such as towels, ice, water, tees, and balls, restocking as needed.
- Follow safety and equipment-handling procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the golf operations team.
Qualifications
- Previous golf, hospitality, or member-service experience preferred.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong service mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support multiple areas of golf operations.
