We are seeking a Bartender to be an ambassador for our mission: TO BE THE FINEST PRIVATE CLUB IN THE WORLD. A Bartender at Kiawah Island Club will excel at applying empathy to every person so they may create and maintain our members’ loyalty, while ranking their teammate’s needs even higher. A Kiawah Island Club Bartender will be an expert at prioritizing to produce efficiency in this fast-paced, multi-faceted, club environment. Service periods include lunch, brunch and dinner.
Responsibilities
- Bartenders are responsible for creating and preparing drinks for service in multiple venues.
- Bartenders are expected to constantly pursue craft excellence in their cocktail creations.
- Bartenders may be required to tend both Voysey’s and Tom’s bar.
- Bartenders will assist with management in designing and implementing new drinks monthly.
- Bartenders are responsible for keeping their bar clean, organized and fully stocked for service.
- Bartenders will be asked to assist with monthly wine and liquor inventories.
Qualifications
- Employees must be well groomed with clean, pressed and appropriate attire.
- Employees must be willing to work five nights per week, with an open weekend availability.
- Employees will always be on time to their scheduled shifts.
- 1- 2 years’ experience as a bartender is required.
- Employees must be 21 years or older.
- Employees must maintain positive upbeat attitude throughout their shift.
- Employees must be organized and responsible for their work area.
-TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification is required for this position. Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
