RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the pickup and delivery of all linens, terry, etc. to outlets around the resort, including The Sanctuary hotel. Responsible for weighing, loading and unloading the washing and drying machines as scheduled. Work heavily with a team to ensure the proper cleaning and processing of all linens for the entire resort.Responsible for completing assigned driving route in a timely manner. Responsible for keeping the flow of laundry moving through the plant: Weigh and record the weight of every load Load the washing machine(s) Start the correct formula / soap for proper cleansing Unload washing machine(s) Load the dryer(s), if applicable Load clean linen and terry on the truck(s)Company cell phones are assigned to each truck and when driving, it is your responsibility to answer all phone calls and follow directions given by the supervisor.Adhere to all health department, sanitation and safety regulation as required by the resort. Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies and equipment. Replenish supplies and equipment as needed during the shift.  Report faulty equipment, linen shortages, maintenance needs, safely hazards and other problems immediately to your supervisor.  Will work with, and properly store, cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements. Restock work areas for the next shift, as assigned. Will need to be able to work without direct supervision. Uphold the core values and policies and procedures of the resort. All other duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Basic knowledge of resort activities is required to ensure timeliness of department needs that would be outlined by supervisor. Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Good to Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, required. Must be able to pass a background check. Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  Must be able to lift minimum weight of 50 lbs. across short-medium distances. Must physically be able to transport linen(s) over the course of a full shift, and remain standing for a vast majority of that shift. Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.  Must be able to work in a fast paced, intense work environment, sometimes under extreme heat and stress, and must be able to remain calm.
