Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. A CDL is not required for this position however, candidates must have a clean driving record and remain insurable for continued employment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while operating various types of company vehicles. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, mechanical knowledge, and effective communication skills to ensure timely and safe delivery of healthcare linen.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles including straight delivery trucks and vans.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Load and unload cargo using lifts and equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs or adjustments as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
Skills
- Proven experience in driving different vehicles with a valid driver’s license.
- Proficient in operating pallet jacks and other loading equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic vehicle issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to drive various types of delivery vehicles safely under varying conditions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.30 - $23.54 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 42 per week
