Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper/Maintenance worker to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our golf course. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and horticulture, with hands-on experience in lawn care and maintenance. You will work outdoors, ensuring that the course is in top condition for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the golf course, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in landscape maintenance, including planting, fertilizing, and pest control.
- Conduct regular inspections of the course to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas to uphold safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and lawn care techniques is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to gardening and landscaping tasks.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
