What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse Technician position at KI?
Location: Manitowoc, WI Salary: Minimum starting at $19.00/hour $2.00 shift premium Work Environment: Warehouse within manufacturing Schedule: 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) Monday - Friday with occasional overtime Position Overview: The Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse Technician is responsible for loading and unloading of product for shipping, as well as moving finished product from the assembly areas to shipping.
Key Responsibilities
Picking, pulling, and verifying items for customer orders. Responsible for organizing and storing incoming product upon arrival from vendors. Maintain clean and organized warehouse. Operate forklift to deliver freight from stored location to loading area (dock, trailer). Manually loads freight into designated trailer (lifting, handling). Move product from the manufacturing plant to the Shipping area to be stored until it is time for it to be loaded maintaining aisle organization as much as possible.
Utilizes forklifts to offload product shuttling from various KI facilities. Manually unload trucks. Account for freight allocated to location by scanning product (receive).
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Possess forklift operator license or have ability to obtain a license within one month of position hire. Ability to learn and understand using BPCS Thorough understanding of bills of materials Be a team player, yet be able to work individually Capability to make decisions on own Ability to work with minimal supervision
