Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining an organized and clean workspace
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and measuring
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed during food handling and storage
- Help with serving food to customers or catering events as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces throughout shifts
- Follow proper knife skills for efficient and safe food preparation
- Assist in setting up stations for meal service or catering events
