SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the daily management of school campus employees
Oversees educators in the school, providing periodic observations and evaluations that are timely and constructive and completed based on the timetables set by the school district
Offers additional training and guidance as necessary based on evaluations of professional staff
Supervisor of 3 independent site locations with travel required.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Principal serves as the campus leader of the administrative team to develop and implement the total school program. Primary contact with San Marcos Treatment Center
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning the School Program - Assists to provide direction to staff in implementing goals and objectives and interact and meets with staff to assist in their development
Implementing School Program – Manages in the development and establishing of the school goals and objectives. Interacts and meets with facility and staff to assists in their development
Facility School Partnership- Works in conjunction with the treatment center to improve student achievement. Primary contact for communication between the treatment center and the school. Ensure a safe environment for all stakeholder
Evaluation and Remediation of the School Program- Evaluates staff to initiate needed improvements, provides professional development opportunities and growth. Assists in evaluation of the school program
Coordinating and Communicating the School Formal Structure- Communicates and carries out established policies, delegates and accepts responsibility for completion of tasks and communicates program goals, objectives and policies
Facilitates Organizational Efficiency- Promotes and maintains open communications, positive student attitudes, respects dignity, worth of staff, students and complies with established lines of control
Build a school culture based on accountability and respect. Ensure a safe environment for all stakeholders
Manages school information system to include PEIMS, state testing coordinator, ensures formative and summative assessments are conducted
Ensures student graduation plans are current and students are in appropriate classes
Responsible for the administrative duties of the school and leading the campus by setting the example
All duties as assigned
Salary : $80,000 - $98,000
