What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Khâluna?
Must Have Open availability Friday-Monday
The Barback will assist the Bartender in service, stocking and glassware. Be willing and able to stock liquor and bar supplies; will do continuous sidework of stocking napkins, utensils and be responsible for providing water and
wares for guests. The Barback will ensure proper rotation in stocking and organization of batches, syrups and non-alcoholic products. This is a learning position and the first step to becoming a bartender. Must be minimum 18 years old.
Assists the bartenders in guest experience and flow.
Extensive knowledge of dining settings, stocking and organization of all things bar related.
Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
Mental & Physical Requirements
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and
twist or reach.
Must be able to learn and retain knowledge on Wine, Spirits, Cocktails and Food.
Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds.
Continuous repetitive motions.
Qualifications
No experience necessary
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with others.
Ability to work with all personality types even in adverse situations.
Of legal age to handle alcohol and glassware containing alcohol
