Electrical Assembler – Production and Repair

Assemble and repair electrical/electronic products including lighting systems, cables, enclosures, connectors, and subassemblies.

Responsibilities

· Complete day-to-day production assignments by reading work orders, follow production drawings, examine sample assemblies, and receive written and verbal instruction.

· Use hand tools to crimp, screw, bolt, solder, cement, and perform similar operations to join or secure parts.

· Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.

· Separate, sort, and tear down repair components. Sand and paint power supply enclosures.

· Clean and polish parts.

· Complete documentation such as tags, labels, and reports to support the production process.

· Perform tasks independently or interact collaboratively with others.

· Provide training and instruction to department trainees.

· Perform various other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Tech school certificate focused on electrical or electromechanical technology is preferred.

· Training and experience interpreting electrical/electronic diagrams.

· Ability to effectively use measuring tools such as a tape measure, and perform calculations necessary to complete tasks accurately.

· Possess good problem solving and decision-making skills.

· Average computer skills to access and enter information in MS Office.

· Work may require lifting up to 40lbs without assistance to place object(s) at table height.

· Some travel may be necessary to attend an occasional offsite training in the area.

This position is best suited for a self-motivated individual who can work independently, or collaboratively as part of a team. This is a full time 40 hours per week position. A first shift opportunity that offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be available as well as weekends.
