Kforce's client, a highly successful Private Equity company located in Wilmington, MA, is in search of a Private Equity Accountant. This a boutique firm with very little turnover, that offers strong compensation and benefits. This is a fully on-site job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

- Private Equity Accountant will be preparing and maintaining quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Prepares quarterly journal entries in conjunction with the quarterly Fund financial reporting process
- Prepare IRR calculations
- Prepares bank reconciliations
- Interacts directly with Fund auditors to handle open items on assigned group of Funds
- Assists Asset Managers in resolving audit issues that arise
- Performs ad hoc requests and projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
- 1-3 years of accounting within Private Equity or Public Accounting (with Investment clients)
- Knowledge of GAAP Accounting
- Ability to learn proprietary databases, applications, and related reporting tools, as required
- Ability to actively engage with other team members as part of a collaborative environment
