Kforce has a client that is seeking a Workday Admin III (Financial/Benefits) in Orlando, FL.
Summary:
The Workday Administrator III is responsible for administering, configuring, and optimizing a cloud-based Workday ERP environment, with a strong focus on Benefits and Payroll configuration and support. This role ensures day-to-day system stability while partnering closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to support ongoing initiatives, integrations, and enhancements.
This position operates within a complex enterprise environment supporting multiple employee populations, compliance requirements, and calendar-driven pay scenarios. The ideal candidate brings deep functional Workday expertise and a problem-solving mindset to support both operational needs and project work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer and support Workday Benefits and Payroll modules, with emphasis on configuration and troubleshooting
* Lead and support Benefits initiatives, including: Open enrollment activities; Benefits configuration for multiple organizational units
* Manage and support external benefits integrations, including state-level or third-party partners
* Ensure day-to-day stability of the Workday ecosystem
* Configure, test, and maintain Workday business processes and workflows
* Monitor system performance and data integrity; Identify and resolve issues in collaboration with IT and business partners
* Support data mapping, data conversion, and reporting needs
* Develop and maintain functional, technical, and business process documentation
* Coordinate Workday upgrades, releases, and maintenance activities within assigned functional areas
* Partner with stakeholders to identify system enhancement opportunities, prioritize work, and propose solutions
* Provide end-user support, training, and documentation
* Document decisions, requirements, and progress using established work management tools
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience administering Workday
* Significant experience with: Workday Benefits; Workday Payroll configuration and support
* Experience supporting Workday integrations
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* Proven ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
* Workday certifications (Benefits, Payroll, HCM, Reporting)
* Experience in higher-education or similarly complex enterprises
* Experience supporting ERP implementations, migrations, or legacy system conversions
* Willingness to pursue or maintain Workday certification (certification support available)
Additional Notes for Recruiters:

* Onsite support is required
* Existing administrator has provided notice, allowing for knowledge-transfer overlap
* Interview process is moving quickly; Near-term availability is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
