RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Program Manager in Oakland, CA.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Senior-Level Experience: At least 5 years of program or project management experience; Ideally in similar operational or contractor-heavy roles
* Outdoor Experience: Must have experience working in outdoor environments, such as forestry, resource management, pest control, or related fields, particularly in mountainous or remote terrains
* Pesticide/Abatement Expertise: Experience in rodent abatement, pesticide programs, or pest control, along with managing contractors or PAC-type inspectors
* GIS Knowledge: Familiarity with GIS tools (ArcGIS or similar) is advantageous, though not mandatory
* Field Presence: This role is heavily field-based, and the ability to build strong relationships with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams is critical
* Strong Communication Skills: Clear, proactive communication is a must to avoid issues with O&M teams who prefer in-person coordination
* Travel: Must be comfortable with frequent travel and extended trips to cover a large territory (Shasta to Fresno)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
