Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Time and Expense Manager. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of time and attendance operations, including system configuration, maintenance, and process optimization
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and organizational policies; update internal procedures as needed
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing accurate documentation and responding to data requests
  • Analyze timekeeping data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement; share insights with leadership
  • Provide responsive and empathetic support to employees and managers regarding timekeeping policies and procedures
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend workflow improvements based on user feedback
  • Develop and deliver training materials tailored to various employee groups
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement system updates and enhancements
  • Maintain accurate employee data, including accruals, pay policies, and reporting structures
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and integrity; coordinate with Payroll, HR, and IT as needed
  • Engage in ongoing professional development
  • Promote inclusive practices and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 7 years of combined education and/or professional experience
  • Experience using data analytics to monitor compliance, generate reports, and provide actionable insights
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and organizational values

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
