Summary: This role has responsibility across both ASC 740 tax provision and tax compliance, with a stronger emphasis on technical ASC 740 concepts and financial reporting disclosure. We are looking for someone who can manage engagements with minimal oversight. Key Tasks: Prepare and review ASC-740 tax provisions including:
- Analyzing and documenting temporary vs. permanent differences
- Preparing and reviewing federal, multi-state, and consolidated tax filings across complex, multi-entity structures, including 1120, 1`065, and select 1040's
- Handling foreign reporting components
- Supporting international calculations including GILTI and foreign considerations
- Identifying and implementing tax adjustments and planning opportunities
- Assisting with pre-audit support, reconciliations, and workpaper preparation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA or EA ,5 years of public accounting tax experience including ASC 740 exposure
- Client should include public companies, SPACs, or venture-backed organizations
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and document tax positions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including preparation and review of provision workpapers
- Experience with CCH Axcess or similar tax software Experience and CCH Engagement Essentials or similar interface
- Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks, and AI Platforms
- Outstanding project management, time management, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task as needed

Salary : $100,300 - $135,700
