Responsibilities
- include, but are not limited to:
- Running client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects and managing to budget
- Supervising, training, and mentoring staff on tax projects and assessing performance of staff for engagement reviews; performing in-charge
- required
- CPA license
- preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Tax software, ProSystems and CCH Must be technically proficient in corporate, international, federal and state and local tax, as well as have a solid background in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, C Corps, partnerships and individual/ trusts
- Strong tax accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent preferred Minimum of 4 years of progressive tax preparation
