Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is in need of Software Development Engineers. Responsibilities:
- Apply software development and testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Design, build, and maintain automated tests across the lifecycle
- Support and enhance test automation frameworks
- Ensure traceability from user stories to test cases and scripts
- Define and communicate environment, data, and dependency needs
- Serve as an SME for assigned applications
- Evaluate solutions aligned with technology standards
- Incorporate risk controls; monitor, mitigate, and escalate as needed
- Partner with teams to design secure, compliant automated tests
- Develop applications and unit tests to meet functional requirements
- Support CI/CD integration and continuous testing practices
- Collaborate to improve software quality and resolve issues
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Strong automated testing experience
- Hands-on API testing using Rest Assured or Karate
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages
- Knowledge of databases and SQL, including query optimization
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience working in cross-functional or distributed teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Proactive in learning and staying current with new technologies
