Salesforce Technical Architect

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Technical Architect to lead enterprise Salesforce implementations, platform transformations, AI-enabled initiatives, and post-production enhancements. This is a project-based delivery role where the architect is expected to own solution architecture while remaining technically engaged throughout implementation. Key Tasks:

• Lead architecture and hands-on technical delivery for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and AI initiatives
• Design and build solutions using Service Cloud, Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Energy and Utilities Cloud as required
• Develop and review Apex, LWC, Flow, APIs, integrations, and automation while establishing development standards and best practices
• Define enterprise architecture including data models, security, sharing, integrations, governance, and platform scalability
• Architect Agentforce solutions, including agents, actions, prompts, data access, and AI workflows aligned to business outcomes
• Design and implement Data Cloud solutions to unify, govern, and activate enterprise data across Salesforce
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and clearly communicate architecture decisions and tradeoffs
• Support the full project lifecycle from discovery through production deployment while balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term platform health
  
  

Requirements

Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as:

• Salesforce Application Architect
• Salesforce System Architect
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II
• Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce AI Specialist
• Experience progressing toward the Salesforce Certified Technical Architect credential; The CTA certification itself is not required
• 8 years of Salesforce development with 3 years as a Salesforce Technical Architect or Lead Architect
• The ideal candidate has progressed from senior Salesforce developer to architect and is equally comfortable designing enterprise solutions, writing and reviewing code, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and mentoring development teams
• They should possess practical, hands-on experience with Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Data Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and enterprise integrations, combined with the ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
• Strong hands-on expertise with Apex, LWC, Flow, APIs, integrations, and Salesforce platform architecture
• Practical implementation experience with Agentforce, Prompt Builder, and Data Cloud
• Experience designing enterprise-scale, secure, high-performance Salesforce solutions with excellent consulting and stakeholder communication skills
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
