Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX seeking a QA Analyst. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Execute manual testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using test and defect management tools
- Maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and test execution results
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Validate application functionality across web, mobile, API, and backend systems as applicable
- Support multi-phase testing efforts and ongoing regression testing across multiple applications
- Communicate testing status, risks, and results clearly to stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices
- 3 years of experience as a QA Analyst or Manual Tester in a structured QA environment
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall)
- Hands-on experience writing and executing detailed test cases
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HP Quality Center/ALM, Xray)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
