Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Processor in Washington, DC. Duties Include:
- Provide general payroll and finance support, including U.S. and international payroll activities
- Assist with payroll processing, reporting, and reconciliations
- Support payroll reviews, invoicing, and payment preparation with external providers
- Prepare and maintain payroll-related reports and documentation
- Assist with payroll journal entries and general ledger uploads
- Support accounting with payroll account reconciliations
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues as needed
- Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and special projects
- Maintain payroll procedures and support process improvements
- Perform additional finance or payroll-related tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of payroll or related finance experience
- Working knowledge of payroll processing, benefits, and payroll accounting
- General understanding of applicable employment and payroll regulations
- Experience with payroll systems or HRIS platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
