Mobile App Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Tempe, AZ that is seeking a Mobile App Developer. Responsibilities:

• Lead the mobile team (currently a mix of FTEs and 4-5 flex developers)
• Define best practices, architecture, and design standards
• Potentially interface with clients, so strong communication and soft skills are key
• Be a technical lead, not necessarily a people manager
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to bring app visions to life
• Partner with software leads to align mobile with broader tech strategy
• Work across disciplines to build end-to-end solutions
  
  

Requirements

• iOS and Android experience - both are important, but iOS is a must-have
• Deep knowledge of the app publishing process for both Android and iOS
• Ability to navigate the go-live process confidently
• Ability to integrate mobile apps with secure APIs
• Ability to work cross-functionally
  
  

Experience With

• Kotlin Multiplatform
• Native Kotlin (Android)
• Native Swift (iOS)
  
  

Strong Understanding Of

• Device security
• On-device storage and databases
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with mobile identity or mobile wallets is a huge plus
• Familiarity with .NET development is a plus (our current devs are mobile-only)
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
