Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an Instructional Designer. Responsibilities:
- Designs training programs, including classroom lectures, online courses, and self-study sessions, directed at employees, organization members, or those who use the organization's products or services
- Develops and updates course content and coordinates learning curriculum
- Conducts assessment and analysis to identify new development needs and recommends training methods accordingly
- Maintains in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the related field
- Prioritize assignments and tasks in Project Management software (JWM), maintain transparent documentation on progress and actions taken/next steps to move assignments forward timely
- Create interactive facilitator led content for highly technical advanced property claims training, or standalone digital content using a variety of tools like Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise - simulations, and other multimedia tools to develop training; Large need for instructor led training via PPT
- Review data to identify performance gaps
- Work with SMEs and teammates to determine root cause and create solutions that drive optimal performance
- Prioritize multiple concurrent assignments and create high quality learning deliverables on time or early. Identify roadblocks and raise risks with potential solutions
- Act with a sense of urgency and ownership in a collaborative team environment
- Apply adult learning principles and training strategies to break down complex advanced property claims skills into digestible topics to accelerate performance using a variety of tools and approaches to satisfy the learning, performance, and business needs
- Emphasis on rapid prototyping and lean effective solutions that drive meaningful, measurable results
- 2 years of experience with Instructional Design
- 2 years of experience collaborating with SMEs
- 2 years of experience with Curriculum Development (facilitator led, eLearning, etc.)
- Claims or property construction experience - or experience building claims training - a plus
- Experience with Articulate 360, Adobe products (Premiere, Audition, Photoshop), Powerpoint, Project Management software, etc.
- Proactive, seeks out work, good collaborator and communicator, team player
- Stable internet and available to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week; Supplier to provide equipment until trial period is over
