Human Resource Generalist

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Human Resource Generalist in Jacksonville, FL. Duties Include:

• Assist in recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
• Administer employee benefits and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Support performance management processes including evaluations and feedback
• Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
• Coordinate training and development initiatives
• Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as a generalist
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
