Finance Director / VP Finance

Responsibilities

Our Kforce client, a locally based technology firm with proprietary manufactured product with international operations, is seeking to hire a Finance Director/VP Finance in Providence, RI. • Finance Director will prepare and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS
• Compliance with financial regulations and standards, including governmental filings, tax regulations and internal policies
• Oversee benefits, payroll, tax compliance, supervise a small well established accounting team
• Strategic decision support - provide financial insights to leadership
• As a Finance Director, you will develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Stay updated on industry trends and financial technologies
• Leverage financial software and tools for efficient financial management
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA is a plus
• 7-15 years of related industry experience, (manufacturing, working with both larger companies and smaller closely held organizations)
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills written and verbal required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
