Kforce has a client in Bakersfield, CA that is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Document Preparation Technicians to support a large-scale records digitization and document management project. Summary: This position is responsible for preparing physical documents for scanning and ensuring records are properly organized throughout the digitization process. No prior scanning experience is required. Training will be provided. Responsibilities:

- Remove staples, paper clips, bindings, and other fasteners
- Organize, sort, and batch records according to project guidelines
- Verify document accuracy and maintain record order
- Identify damaged or irregular documents requiring special handling
- Support quality control procedures
- Maintain productivity goals in a fast-paced environment
- Follow confidentiality and document handling requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Data entry
