Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- Public Accounting experience and a CPA license or equivalent accounting qualification required
- At least 7 to 11 years of large public company tax and accounting experience at either a Big 4 public accounting firm or in-house with a large public company
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively
- Direct experience from Big 4 or industry specifically working with large public companies
- Experienced with ASC740/provision, state, international, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal teams and external service providers
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tax-related documents and filings
- Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Strong experience in public company tax provision and compliance preferred
- Familiarity with tax systems is preferred
