Responsibilities
A Kforce client in Grand Rapids, Michigan (MI) is looking for a Credit/Collections Lead - to work a hybrid model with two days in office. Candidates must be commutable to Grand Rapids. Summary: As a Collections Lead, you will play a crucial role in a centralized department, with a primary focus on collections. You will manage 200 active customers with open balances, oversee cash applications, invoicing, and collections across multiple facilities. Your expertise in analyzing delinquent accounts, escalating issues, and resolving complex payment problems will be essential. Although invoicing is not a daily task, you will be trained as a backup. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to utilize customer portals for heavy collections. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and exceptional critical thinking skills. The role offers potential for growth and can be tailored to include additional responsibilities based on the candidate's interests. The Collections Lead will interact significantly with Quality, Shipping, and Customer Service teams, making this more than just a phone-based role.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
- 5 years of credit/collections experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must live within driving distance of Grand Rapids, MI
