Kforce has a client in Crofton, MD that is seeking an Analyst - Asset Management. Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Analyst to support our expanding team. This role focuses on financial modeling, cost analysis, and performance reporting to help strengthen organizational decision making and operational effectiveness. The position also offers opportunities to grow into broader responsibilities over time. Financial Modeling & Forecasting:

- Build, maintain, and evaluate detailed financial models to support planning and performance assessment
- Monitor and forecast revenue, expenses, and investment needs to ensure accurate financial outlooks
- Identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities, and communicate insights to internal stakeholders
- Conduct cost reviews to identify inefficiencies and propose potential savings
- Track, benchmark, and analyze expense patterns across multiple business units or locations
- Partner with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoicing or cost allocations
- Prepare recurring reports that summarize financial results and operational performance
- Present analytical findings that support data driven decisions across the organization
- Assist with budgets, updated forecasts, and long range planning activities
- Gain hands on experience with strategic business functions such as performance reviews, market research, and operational assessments
- Support the development and execution of initiatives designed to enhance performance and value creation
- Contribute to research, evaluations, and due diligence activities for future organizational initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- Prior experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or operational reporting preferred
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Ability to analyze cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities
- Skilled in interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights
- Detail-oriented with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
- Ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Interest in professional growth and exposure to broader operational functions
