The Caregiver is responsible for providing the hands on care necessary for the residents within our communities. They are responsible for providing the residents with physical and emotional support along with communicating effectively with residents, family members, co-workers and supervisors. Daily assignments include but are not limited to, direct resident care, light housekeeping/laundry, assisting in the dining room, and facilitating and/or participating in activities and outings. Caregivers must communicate regularly with the community management regarding any resident concerns or changes in health, behaviors, and overall condition.
The Caregiver must demonstrate a compassionate and caring demeanor along with a calm and comfortable approach with the elderly population. Preferably a candidate will possess a minimum one year experience in long term care, assisted living, or home health. Preference given to Certified Nursing Assistants; however this is not a requirement.
