Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Booth Assistant at San Diego Convention Center, 111 W. Harbor Dr., San Diego, USA, North America.The Booth Assistant will assist with event setup, provide information about company products, engage with potential clients, and manage promotional materials. The role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, and adaptability to various tasks during events.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors to the booth
- Initiate casual conversations & maintain a positive atmosphere
- Hand out brochures and promotional materials
- Help with contact collection (badge scanning / email list / forms)
- Keep the booth tidy and visually appealing
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide on-the-spot assistance during events
- Organizational skills to manage booth setup and promotional materials efficiently
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or event management is an advantage
- No industry knowledge required — training provided
