What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer I- Regulating Stations position at KEYSTONE SURVEYING & MAPPING, INC.?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work with Engineers to help plan and design all aspects of natural gas distribution regulating projects including site layout and tie-in piping
· PA 811 Design OneCall implementation and coordination
· Perform field visits during the design phase to the existing or proposed site, or both, create and record field notes and measurements
· Assist with coordination of project permits on a local, county or state level
· Assist with preliminary and final designs
· Assist in coordinating and communicating with various client department personnel to determine project scope, design planning, and address client expectations
· Ability to multi-task between multiple projects at various stages of design and construction
· Coordinate on a regular basis with the Station Engineers
· Perform QA/QC of all work prior to submission to the Engineer
· Assist in researching new projects received from the client
· Responsible for other duties as assigned
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
· Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering field of study
· Entry level engineering position, no experience required
· Strong understanding of basic engineering fundamentals
· Ability to interact positively and professionally with other employees
· Strong technical, communication, and verbal skills
· Must have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
· Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to project sites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
