Intellectual Disability- Direct Support Professional

Keystone Human Services is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our Intellectual Disability Services team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to live full, meaningful lives within their communities by providing person-centered support that values individuality, respect, and choice Key Responsibilities: Create a healthy, engaging home environment Provide individualized support in alignment with each person’s service plan Teach and assist with daily living skills and personal care Support individuals in achieving valued social roles and independence Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration Provide transportation to activities, employment, and appointments Advocate for the health, wellness, and independence of the people we support Build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries Collaborate with team members and families to ensure meaningful outcomes Position Details: $20.50 per hour Full Time and Part Time (first/second shifts, rotating weekends) Casual/Per Diem (varying schedule, includes weekends) Benefits: Comprehensive benefits plan, including medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous paid time off program 401k with employer match contribution Tuition reimbursement, career development, and advancement opportunities Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, preferred Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to read, interpret, and apply written information Basic computer skills, including use of software and web-based systems Ability to successfully complete Medication Administration, First Aid, CPR, and other required trainings within mandated timeframes Keystone Human Services prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities and prohibits discrimination against all individuals based on any category protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
