Keystone is looking for a caring and personable individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with seniors. We currently have an opening for a_ Registered Nurse._
Our Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for residents' nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Health and Wellness. The RN provides leadership and strong communication for the Resident & Medication Aides at the Assisted Living and Memory Care levels. They will provide all of their responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of assisted living.
Job duties may include:
- Assist and orient new residents to the facility, ensuring satisfactory integration into the community.
- Monitor resident service plans according to state regulations. Record information to determine quality of service to resident & direct caregivers to implement needed changes.
- Monitor medication regimen for residents & document resident's response. Follow through on medication change orders received from physician. Works with pharmacy to ensure appropriate handling, receiving, storing, & reordering medications.
- Administers medications/treatments according to physician orders when needed. Administers injections or treatments that are of medical necessity & require the skill of an RN.
- Performs on-call duties according to schedule & responds to staff in a timely manner when needed. Ensures & advocates proper policy & procedure in regard to facility attendance policy.
- Assist with coordination of temporary and permanent transfers or discharges to other facilities.
