Job Description
The Mill Operator will be responsible for the operation of the mixer panel to manufacture feed for customers per Production Manager’s schedule. Schedule to be Mon – Fri 7am – 5pm. with possible Saturday hours at your managers discretion.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Run Mixer Control Panel and Mills
· Sequence orders, perform flushes as required
· Determine Hand Add needs for formula and communicate changes to Mill Workers
· Be responsible for all Medicated Hand Adds
· Assign Loadout Bins, maintain all Communication Whiteboards
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Control Room
· Follow proper documentation protocols for F#RM Drug Inventory Sheets, Keystone Mills Actual Bag Weight Calculation sheets, F#RW Rework Logs, Daily Production Logs, Mixing Tickets, Hand Add Cards, Bin Inventory Logs
· Assist with light duty maintenance during your shift as needed
· Perform other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Education
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Experience in Mixer Control Equipment operations (min, 1-2 yrs. experience preferred)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Basic math skills (be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide)
· Excellent communication skills in order to provide effective communication to team members and other department supervisors
· Organizational abilities to ensure that paperwork is complete, accurate and filed correctly
· Critical thinking abilities to be able to spot problems and be able to solve them with minimal direction
· Accountability and integrity to ensure that all SQF and GMP policies are being followed, mistakes or errors are reported immediately and that short cuts are not taken to save time
· Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
