As an educator at Keystone Kidz you will create a safe, nurturing and educational environment. Our group supervisor will assistance you in implementing curriculum, decor, and materials to create a warm, organized, educational, fun and stimulating environment for our preschoolers. You will play a crucial role in each child's development and preparedness for kindergarten by implementing age-appropriate educational activities and ensuring their overall emotional well-being. Pay range $16 to $18 an hour based on qualifications, experience, and most of all, enthusiasm and excitement for this position. High wages possible for professionalism and the ability and willingness to take on additional duties and responsibilities outside of the classroom.
Childcare Teacher Duties:
- Implement curriculum provided to you by Keystone Kidz
- Provide attentive and compassionate care and education to children
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Follow a plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including educational games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Foster positive behavior and encourage cooperation and respect among children
- Maintain open communication with parents and the administration regarding the progress and any concerns of the children under your supervision and instruction.
- Ensure the health and safety of all children by following proper hygiene practices and maintaining a clean environment
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and diaper changing as needed
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive team environment
Childcare Teacher Experience:
- We require multiple background checks
- Previous experience in childcare, daycare, preschool, or babysitting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques preferred
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each child in your care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
