Lead Toddler Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
• Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and foundational skills in a safe, supportive environment.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and child welfare practices to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school connections.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of classroom management and instructional quality.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR certifications, and early intervention protocols.
• Collaborate with specialists in special education or childhood development to support children with diverse needs and implement individualized plans when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education for young children.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as preschool teaching approaches is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is required.
• Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable.

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
