Position Title: Speech and Language Pathologist (S.L.P.)Classification: ExemptPosition Type: Full time (185 day position)Salary Schedule: Teacher/Therapist Salary Schedule*Probationary Period: 90 daysReports To: Supervising Therapist/Program AdministratorSummary/Objective:The Speech and Language Therapist will function as an integral member of educational teams providing directservice, consultation and evaluations to a range of students with special education needs. Therapists will carry a caseload as assigned by the Educational Team Leader and Supervising Therapist in conjunction with othertherapy team members and/or local school districts. Therapists will provide services in an integrated manner utilizing 1:1, small group and large group settings and may work in separate classrooms or in integrated settingsas appropriate to the student caseload.Essential Functions/Duties:

• To provide clinical speech and language services to students.
• To provide evaluations and reports.
• To participate in team meetings.
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff.
• To model appropriate techniques and strategies.
• Maintain and improve professional competence.
• To work with families.
• To maintain appropriate records.
• To assist in the development of in-service training programs.
• To work with members of the educational team to develop appropriate goals and objectives for each student.
• Implement Keystone policies and procedures.
• Ensure student confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned by Program Supervisor.
