Responsibilities
- Supervise the stick pack packaging line to ensure smooth, efficient operation while meeting production goals.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing clear instructions and support to maximize productivity.
- Monitor quality control standards throughout the packaging process, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including sanitation procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Operate and oversee equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and machinery used in materials handling and packaging.
- Maintain a cleanroom environment by enforcing sanitation standards and proper cleaning schedules.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and materials to ensure adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues, utilizing your mechanical knowledge to support maintenance or escalate repairs as needed.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with warehouse staff for efficient materials handling.
- Support sanitation efforts by ensuring proper cleaning procedures are followed after each shift.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing or packaging environments, preferably within a cleanroom setting.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes, CGMP standards, and FDA regulations related to manufacturing.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in machining, assembly, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures and maintaining a cleanroom environment.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording.
- Excellent communication skills to lead teams effectively and coordinate with other departments.
