Annual Salary Range
$135,000—$186,000 USD

Role Expectations
- Partnering with consultants and investigators to architect secure, high-performance data infrastructure across cloud environments
- Developing reproducible data ingestion pipelines and analytical workflows that transform raw data into strategic insights for clients in regulated sectors
- Building custom software and APIs to automate data discovery, integrate large language models (LLMs), and support digital investigations
- Leveraging modern ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, and big data technologies to enable efficient processing from diverse data sources
- Implementing tools and libraries that enhance scalability, auditability, and delivery efficiency for technical investigations
- Supporting AI/ML-driven analysis, including model fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment (for example vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation systems)
- Advising on data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance standards relevant to the MENA region
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across data science, forensic analysis, and regulatory strategy to deliver innovative client outcomes
- Comfort working with high volumes of unstructured data from a variety of sources, including structured (CSV) and semi-structured formats (e.g., JSON)
- Proven experience in data engineering, data science, or ETL/ELT workflows involving large and complex datasets
- Proficiency with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related data services (for example Lambda, Bedrock, Vertex AI)
- Advanced working knowledge of Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face, and OpenAI API
- Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, Prefect, or Luigi, and big data platforms such as Snowflake, Spark, or BigQuery
- Understanding of software development lifecycle principles, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to AI/ML/NLP concepts and implementation in production systems
- Experience or interest in digital investigations, compliance analytics, or forensic data work is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Ability to work across cultures and time zones in a dynamic consulting environment
