Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and compliance with safety standards. This individual will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, and support operational excellence in a fast-paced commercial foodservice environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping of equipment and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory control practices using warehouse management systems (NetSuite).
- Lead a team of warehouse associates: schedule shifts, assign tasks, train new hires, and provide ongoing performance feedback.
- Ensure equipment (including refrigeration units, cooking appliances, and related components) is stored and handled safely and in accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with installation and service departments to ensure timely delivery and staging of commercial foodservice equipment.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize loss or damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including order accuracy, shipment timelines, and staff productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse issues, including vendor delivery discrepancies and logistical delays.
- Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety meetings and training.

- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred.
- 3 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in the commercial foodservice industry or related field strongly preferred.
- Proficient in inventory systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in varying warehouse conditions (cold, heat, etc.).
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Typical warehouse environment with exposure to temperature changes and mechanical equipment.
- May require extended hours during peak periods or project rollouts.
