What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consumer Loan Funder position at KeyPoint Credit Union?
To provide quality service as part of KeyPoint Credit Union’s Consumer Lending department. Work closely with Dealers, Loan Officers, Branches, Digital Lending Team and other staff to ensure quality service along with accurate and timely loan funding.. Additional duties as assigned, which may include but are not limited to any of the following: Responsibilities: Complete the review of all incoming loan packets for accuracy and completeness; this includes verifying approval rate and amount, ensuring documents have all appropriate signatures and that all necessary documents are included in the loan packet and are properly verified prior to fundingResponsible for monitoring incoming applications received through the Dealer Track, CUDL, email and e-faxes. This includes logging all packets received and web-messaging dealers “documents received” Complete all required primary and secondary input on all loan applications, including the follow-up on pending documents, creating new disclosures as needed and maintaining Consumer Lending time and accuracy commitmentsPrepare any necessary letters, which are uploaded for the loan file and mailed to the member with all required disclosures, brochures, etc. Also, to accurately maintain any funding logsResponsible for daily balancing of CUDL ACH ReportResponsible for maintaining relationships with participating dealerships and branches, to include answering and returning calls received through the funding phone queueAssist as needed within the Digital Lending Processors duties related to processing and funding loan applications and the phone queueFollow all appropriate Policies and Procedures and management directives related to the Consumer Lending DepartmentPerform other related duties as assignedPhysical Requirements: (Including lifting, sitting, walking, bending, reaching and squatting % of time in each function)Work environment: indoor office Work position: standing 15%, walking 15%, and sitting 70%. Minimal lifting ~30lbs. and some carrying, bending, reaching, kneeling/squatting and climbing stairs/ladders.Minimum Requirements:Excellent command of written and verbal skills. High School diploma or equivalent. Two years’ experience in a high touch customer service excellent oriented role within a financial institution is desirable, however, is not required. Passing of all computer-based tutorials required by KeyPoint CU. Obtain and maintain all applicable licensing required to process all loan types offered by KeyPoint Credit Union.
