Position: Business Process & Change Consultant (PM)
Location: Hybrid β Schaumburg, IL
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Job Summary:
Seeking a Business Process & Change Consultant to support enterprise transformation initiatives by partnering with business and IT teams to redesign processes, implement technology solutions, and drive effective change management. This role focuses on improving operating models, ensuring business readiness, and enabling successful adoption through structured processes, training, and communication.
Must-have:
- Business process analysis and process design experience
- Change management and business readiness experience
- Strong stakeholder collaboration across business and IT
- Process documentation skills (Visio or similar tools)
- Training material development and facilitation experience
- Experience supporting medium to large transformation projects
- Excellent communication skills (PowerPoint, written & verbal)
- Insurance domain experience, preferably Property & Casualty
- Exposure to underwriting systems or platforms (Guidewire preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and IT teams to analyze requirements and redesign processes
- Support operating model transformation using structured change management practices
- Develop process documentation, training materials, and change communications
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder alignment sessions
- Support UAT, business readiness activities, and issue resolution
- Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with business objectives
