Location: Keyence U.S. Headquarters – Itasca, IL

Total Compensation (Base Bonus): $104,010

As a Systems Administrator you will join our Data Analytics & Governance team. You’ll manage ETL pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the integrity and security of Keyence’s data systems while supporting daily operations and strategic initiatives.

• Build, monitor, and maintain ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading into the data warehouse
• Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and stakeholders to onboard new data sources
• Manage database reports, visualizations, and monitor usage metrics
• Create and maintain reports using SQL, Microsoft Excel, and BI platforms
• Maintain policies and procedures to ensure database security and integrity
• Provide end-user support and maintain strong knowledge of company systems
• Advocate for data security principles and embed best practices into data strategies
• Support third-party data suppliers with specifications aligned to Keyence’s architecture
• Assist with inquiries from supported business units and other projects as assigned

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in data integration, ETL pipelines, and database operations
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with large volumes of confidential data and prioritize tasks
• In-depth understanding of relational databases and normalization techniques
• Experience with T-SQL and relational data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server)
• Familiarity with data connectors/APIs, file-based ingestion (SFTP, CSV/JSON), and CDC patterns
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

💡 Preferred Skills

• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
• Familiarity with DBT and AWS
• Exposure to Snowflake or similar data warehouse platforms

• Base Salary: $66,300
• Bonus Target: $18,792 annually (performance-based), paid quarterly
