What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renewal Coordinator position at Key2Source INC?
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process license renewal and reinstatement applications, including civil, criminal, or administrative background documents.
- Determine candidate eligibility for license renewal in accordance with state laws and policies.
- Collaborate with the IDOI Enforcement Division, Vertafore/Sircon, NIPR, FINRA, and other state insurance departments to verify potential disqualifications.
- Utilize databases such as MyCase.in.gov, NIPR Attachments Warehouse, I-Site, Sircon for States, e-PAL, INBiz, and FINRA BrokerCheck to evaluate applications.
- Process reinstatement waiver forms and coordinate requirements for candidates taking the IDOI Laws & Regulations exam.
- Advise candidates on reinstatement procedures and track their progress.
- Maintain and update licensing renewal and reinstatement web pages on www.in.gov/idoi.
- Work with system vendors (Vertafore/Sircon, NIPR) to troubleshoot errors, resolve concerns, and implement process improvements.
- Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders regarding licensing renewal/reinstatement issues.
- Assist the Education Coordinator with continuing education (CE) due-date extension forms and CE retirement exemption forms.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of strong customer service experience in a business or professional environment.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in the Life, Accident & Health (LAH) or Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
- Previous experience working in a call center environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
