Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Pay Rate: $55,000 - $60,000
Hybrid schedule following a 90-day introductory period
A well-established Syracuse professional services organization is looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong accounting and reconciliation skills who enjoys problem-solving and working with internal teams and clients.
Responsibilities:
• Record and reconcile daily cash receipts across accounting systems, including deposits and credit card payments
• Prepare daily receipts and account balance reports and ensure accurate cash balancing
• Investigate and resolve billing, reconciliation, and payment discrepancies
• Work with internal teams and clients to address account issues and support collections
• Identify data errors and assist with implementing controls to prevent recurring issues
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Follow company policies and procedures related to compliance and confidentiality
Job Requirements:
• 2 years of accounts receivable and cash application experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
