Quality Assurance Inspector Pay Rate and Hours:
- $25-$28/hr
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. They will work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours.
- The Quality Assurance Inspector has the responsibility to inspect, accept, or reject work performed in a particular discipline in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
- Actively support the company’s commitment to safety and its values.
- Responsible to observe and follow all safety procedures and regulations.
- Perform inspections and witness tests as required.
- Prepare reports and quality records in compliance with procedures.
- Keeping up to date on all code endorsed inspection stamps and meet the standards of today’s industry.
- Assist the QA Manager with making sure all books are up to date.
- Communicate with management team including production, engineering, and applications with regard to quality and spec issues and recommendations
- Little to no travel is expected for this position

- Communication Proficiency
- Associate degree in quality assurance or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge in electrical and assembly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated work experience.
- NDE level 2 certs. MT, PT & Film Interpretation.
- Experience with section VIII Div.1 codes.
- Familiar with D1.1, B31.1 & B31.3.
- Familiar with section I codes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
