Class A CDL Driver – Site Work & Utility Contractor

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to support our site work and underground utility operations. This role is ideal for a reliable driver who understands construction jobsite logistics, can safely haul materials and equipment, and is comfortable working in a fast‑moving heavy civil environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A trucks for hauling materials, aggregates, equipment, and jobsite supplies
- Transport excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment to and from job locations
- Assist with loading/unloading using chains, binders, and proper securing methods
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow DOT regulations
- Support field crews with jobsite needs, including material staging and equipment moves
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, and the public
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Experience hauling equipment for site work or utility contractors preferred
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement practices
- Ability to operate and maneuver trucks in tight jobsite conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
- Ability to assist with general labor or equipment tasks when needed is a plus
- Experience with lowbed trailers preferred but not required
